The animals
Most of the animals you'll see here were born on this place, and the kids raise a good share of them — a few go to 4H each year. We know every one by name (or number), whether they answer to it or not. Anything for sale right now is on the farm-stand page.
The dairy goats
Nubian dairy goats with long ears and big opinions — the girls milk them every morning through spring and summer. Rich, high-butterfat milk that becomes the household's yogurt, cheese, and soap if we have enough. Kids arrive every spring, and a few are always for sale.
Spring kids
Born on the place every spring — reserve early. Current availability lives on the farm-stand page.
Our goats are CLRC-registered (Canadian Livestock Records Corporation) — pedigrees available on request, and coming to this page soon.
The lamb flock
Our sheep spend their lives between the pasture and the pen — the pen being a bit safer from predators at night. Two border collies handle the daily commute, and two guardian dogs stand watch, because the mountain sends more than water down. We sometimes sell lamb by the whole or half.

The Piedmontese
A few Piedmontese — a white Italian breed, famously lean and famously tender — that we've kept for both beef and dairy. Some years there's extra beef to share; when there is, it shows up on the farm-stand page.

The Morgans
Lena, Henley, and Captain — three well-trained Morgans the kids trade off riding, bareback more often than not. Not for sale, just for showing off.
